Jade is very difficult to judge on a screen. Translucency in particular does not photograph — it has to be held up to a window.
We keep an hour aside for private viewings at the studio, and for clients outside New York we ship a selection on approval against a refundable hold. Nothing is charged until you keep something.

FAQ
Questions we are asked most
Is all of your jade natural?
Yes. Grade A only — natural, untreated jadeite with no bleaching, polymer impregnation or dye. Every piece ships with an independent laboratory report saying so. We do not sell Grade B or C material at any price.
How do I find my bangle size?
Tuck your thumb into your palm as though putting on a glove and measure around the widest part of the hand. That circumference in millimetres, divided by roughly 3.1, gives your minimum inner diameter — then add 2–4 mm for comfort. We will post you a paper gauge free of charge, and we would rather you used it.
Will the piece look like the photograph?
It is the photograph. Each listing shows the individual stone you will receive, shot in daylight without colour correction. Translucency is the one property no photograph captures fully, which is why we offer 30-day returns and viewings on approval.
Where does your jadeite come from?
Nearly all gem-quality jadeite in the world originates in Kachin State, northern Myanmar, and is traded through Guangdong. We buy finished rough through long-standing dealers in that market and are transparent about the fact that traceability in this trade is imperfect — anyone claiming otherwise is overstating it.
Can I have something engraved?
Yes, on the reverse of tablets and locks in the Fortune collection — a single character, a date or a short name, at no extra cost. Allow an additional week. Engraved pieces are not returnable.
Do you offer payment plans?
For pieces above $2,000 we can arrange three or six interest-free instalments, with the piece held and insured by us until the final payment. Ask when you enquire.
What if my bangle breaks?
Jadeite is tough but not unbreakable, and a hard knock against stone or tile can crack a bangle. We repair with gold inlay in the traditional way, which many people come to prefer to the original. Contact us and we will quote before starting.
